Aspiring Orthodontist

I was born and raised right here in Redlands, California. I spent a couple of years in Zimbabwe doing missionary work before heading to college in Utah for four years, where I met my incredible wife, Amber. Eventually, I made my way back home and earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University, where I was honored with the Orthodontic Excellence Award by the American Association of Orthodontists—a recognition that further solidified my dream of becoming an orthodontist and working alongside my dad.

Orthodontics is incredibly rewarding for me because it’s about creating something both functional and beautiful. I’ve always loved building and designing, and that passion spills over into my hobbies. I get excited about everything from building sheds and replanting aquariums to cultivating fruit trees and designing ponds and waterfalls—not to mention a million other random projects my wife would probably be happy to tell you all about.

Outside the office, I’m a husband and proud dad to two wild and wonderful boys. When we’re not working on backyard projects, we’re riding motorcycles, wakeboarding, camping, or swimming anywhere we can find water. I love being outdoors, getting a little sunburned, and turning everyday moments with my boys into adventures.

But more than all of those hobbies, my true joy comes from connecting with people. Getting to know our amazing patients and their families—while creating beautiful, confident smiles—is the best job I could ever ask for. Every patient is unique, and I thrive on the combination of precision, creativity, and meaningful relationships that make working here at Larson Orthodontics so special.
